Episode # 318: Outside In

Life On Tap Episode #318: Outside In (Threes Brewing Outside In, German Pilsner)

Dan tries a German Pilsner collaboration between Halfway Crooks and Threes Brewing, Outside In, as part of summer celebrations.

Threes Brewing Outside In

STYLE: German-style Pilsner
INGREDIENTS: German Pilsner Malt, Hallertau Mittlefruh hops
ABV: 5.0%
COLLABORATION: Halfway Crooks (GA)
AVAILABILITY: 16oz Cans, Draft (Limited)

Stats above taken from the brewery’s can, website and Untappd.

Super clear, light, and golden with a beautiful white head.

Honey and a bit of a floral note with the bready essence from the malt bill.

Earthy and floral notes from the hops with a bit of grapefruit pith mixed with a toasted bread note from the malt.

Crisp, very dry, and refreshing with a weight appropriate to style.

Drink this in mass quantity for sure. I’m all over German beer hall fare with this. I definitely need to have some beers from Halfway Crooks at some point.

Cheers and remember:

Life’s a tap…drink up ’til it’s dry.
