Dan drops back in on a favorite from local NYC’s Torch and Crown Brewing Company – Their cream ale Utility.

Torch and Crown Brewing Company Utility

STYLE: Cream Ale
ABV: 5.5%
IBU: N/A
AVAILABILITY: 16oz Cans, Draft (Limited)

Stats above taken from the brewery’s can, website, and Untappd.

Appearance

Super light/straw yellow in color with a big, large-bubbled head.

Aroma

Intense grainy note with some earthiness/herbality/minerality from the hops.

Taste

Similar notes on the palate with some corniness/husk mixed in with some minerality.

Mouthfeel

This is meant for easy-drinking, so it’s light and crisp on the palate making you go back for more sips.

Overall

I am imagining watching a game at a bar with pizza or other local fare. Many would be consumed for sure!

Cheers and remember:

Life’s a tap…drink up ’til it’s dry.
