Life On Tap Episode #327: Dreams of Yesterday (Threes Brewing Dreams of Yesterday, Pilsner with oyster shells)

Dan was not sleepy, but sought some related refreshment in Threes Brewing Dreams of Yesterday, a pilsner with oyster shells.

Threes Brewing Dreams of Yesterday

STYLE: Pilsner with oyster shells
INGREDIENTS: German Pilsner Malt and oyster shells
COLLABORATION: Bearded Iris Brewing
ABV: 4.5%
IBU: N/A
AVAILABILITY: 16oz Cans, Draft (Limited)

Stats above taken from the brewery’s can, website, and Untappd.

Appearance

Light yellow in color with a nice, white head.

Aroma

Brininess with bread and biscuit notes.

Taste

Minerality with a continuation of the notes from the aroma.

Mouthfeel

Perfect amount of carbonation accentuated the crisp mouthfeel and body.

Overall

Mad tasty for sure. Fish and chips pairing or used in the batter would slay with this, though you could probably go with any fish or seafood for sure.

Cheers and remember:

Life’s a tap…drink up ’til it’s dry.
